The iPad Air 2 has the same design as we saw in the first iPad Air however it is bit thinner than its predecessor and features Touch ID.
Where screen is concerned Apple hasn’t changed much for the iPad Air 2 and has kept the screen size at 9.7 inches with a 2048×1536 resolution at 264 (ppi). However they have added anti-reflective coating to reduce reflection by 56 %.

The biggest advantage in iPad Air 2 comes in the form of Touch ID fingerprint scanner. Touch ID allows user to use store their fingerprint on their iPad and can be used in making transaction from Apple App store. Camera on iPad Air 2 has came with improvements by introducing an 8 megapixel rear camera.
The iPad Air 2 has WiFi 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Multiple-In-Multiple-Out (MIMO) technology and according to Apple, 2.8 times the Wi-Fi performance of iPad Air at data rates up to 866 Mbps.
iPad Air 2 with cellular connectivity has more LTE bands implying 50 percent faster cellular connections, plus support for other fast cellular technology around the world. iPad Air 2 is coming in Gold colour as well along with Space Grey and silver.
The iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi only versions will be priced as follows: 16GB will start at Rs 35,900, 64GB for Rs 42,900 and 128G for Rs 49,900. The iPad Air 2 WiFi plus cellular will be priced like this: 16 GB for Rs45,900, 64GB for Rs52,900 and 128GB for Rs59,900.
All in all the improved camera resolution and touch ID is a great plus, but other than that, the rest of the updates in the iPad Air 2 don’t really excite.
